Location: Tbilisi or Pankisi, Republic of Georgia

Commitment: Fulltime, 2+ years

Responsibilities: The Country Director is responsible for coordination of the Caucasus Hope Partnership Development Centers on a national level.

Qualifications: Volunteers for this position should have excellent leadership skills.  An aptitude for understanding and working within beauracracies and in cooperation with other organizations, or direction of qualified professionals in these areas is valuable.  Experience with solicitation of grant monies and recruitment of qualified staff is also important, but is not necessary.  The ability to sustain diverse teams in functional harmony is of primary importance.

Compensation: Firstly, you will never have a more rewarding job than using your talents in the service of the poor in health, the poor in wealth, and the poor in spirit.  Secondly, all field staff are expected to contribute to the general budget through fund raising efforts.  Staff salaries are paid from this according to a formula that takes into account the requirements of all staff members.  You won't get rich in this life, but it will be well worth it!
